Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2020 and cheers to kicking off a new decade! Since so many people create health and weight related New Year’s resolutions, I thought I’d share this great overview and ranking of the popular “diets”: ⠀

….mind you I’m not an advocate of “diets” (fad diets that is). While reading this, please know that they’re combining all types of eating plans, some are fad diets (keto, Dukan, etc.), and some are considered healthy lifestyles (Mediterranean, flexitarian, etc.). When choosing an eating plan, look for one that is safe, meets your health needs, and is sustainable long term (keep in mind that yo-yo dieting can be detrimental to your health and your long-term weight goals). ⠀

I believe that mindful eating (more on that later) and committing to a healthier lifestyle by making small changes over time is the key…..and of course, finding forms of physical fitness that you love! I’m loving my @metabolicsaratoga workouts along with running, biking and skiing among other things! Variety keeps things fresh and fun!⠀
